“The Great Arch” crux is a horizontal roof situated 100m above the crashing waves on a remote Scottish island 🏝️ 🌊 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I often get asked about how I practice moves on steep terrain with no bolted belays or anchors. Well here is a good glimpse into it. I use a grigri to tension the static rope, always making sure there is no sharp edges touching the rope or otherwise use a rope protector.
