The rescue teams across both Wombat Rescue and @wildcare_queanbeyan have been kept busy with either calls of displaced wombats or injured or killed wombats in the new development area of Environa near Jerrabomberra. This beautiful young female was found sleeping in the KFC drive-thru. Highly unusual behaviour so she was brought into care for possible car strike and xrayed. She was clearly displaced and had nowhere to sleep. KFC was it😊 Thank you to staff member Katie who closed the lane to keep
