A homeless man turned away from a Manchester hotel during sub-zero weather has said it's "disgusting" he was refused entry. Staff at Holiday Inn Express on Oxford Road told him it was against company policy to allow homeless people to stay there, however a spokesperson for the chain said the incident was “not in keeping with our policy of welcoming all and should have been handled differently”, adding that it “sincerely apologises to the guests affected” and that it’s taking steps to strengthen
