To end the year on a good note - Manatee "Mermaid" was recently sighted on our webcams at Homosassa Springs! Mermaid had been rescued in February of 2024 for emaciation and was rehabilitated at Manatee Rescue & Rehabilitation Partnership partners ZooTampa at Lowry Park and Disney's the Living Seas (Disney's Animals, Science and Environment).
