Maverick, the immature bald eagle, is flying like real eagle now! Being able to fly in a large field allows Maverick to gain muscle, confidence, and skills with varying wind. He has come a long was from falling from his nest and being a critical care patient in our hospital last year. While Maverick can fly well now, he is still non releasable due to his blind left eye.
